IDS Vancouver 2022

I was so happy to return to Interior Design Show this year.

My first time attending IDS was in 2019 when I was the Prototype Award winner. I had a great time in 2019 and couldn't wait to return.

This year was the first time IDS was organized since 2019, and it was a great success.

I launched the new collaboration project with Native Shoes and its proprietary material: Native Shoes Remix™- Remix Maison, a project I've worked on for the last two years. This collaborative project re-imagines functional design with circular materials.

I partnered with the brand to design and develop sculptural furniture made with materials created from reclaimed and repurposed footwear. The collection features eye-catching designs that reflect the present and future way of living while questioning one's everyday actions and needs. It makes me happy to see how many people appreciate our project. Behind this project is a beautiful team of dedicated and passionate people, and I am so grateful for everyone’s work on this project.

The project was featured in Design Milk, Gray Magazine, Azure magazine, Western Living, and Vancouver Sun, Nuvo Magazine.
